Jobs Where are they going?

I was reading an article in Business News; it stated that the unemployment rate was at its lowest. But wait, Even though it's not showing that it's getting higher its not telling the truth.

People have their jobs but have had to go part time. Keeps them from drawing unemployment, well, that's a false sense that we are really doing ok and unemployment and the recession is a fragment of our imagination. Their income has dropped to half or less. They are taking cuts in pay or reduce hours.

Well that was disturbing to me. People who have planned their life around a job are getting shafted. They don't know what to do.

You know my grandmother always said to have something on the side for the just in case. "Don't get too comfortable with your job. Learn how to make money outside the job, you know, just in case."

Most people are afraid to step into that area. They look at franchises that cost too much to get started. There are a few that have gone into network marketing, some success if they have chosen the right company that fits their passion.

What I want to tell people they have to look at other options. There are a lot of work at home opportunities that won't cost you an arm and a leg that you can do on a shoestring budget.

I suggest this look at social business websites. You will find all kinds of opportunities that will fit you. You can talk to people about their business - Look at several businesses without being dragged out to a meeting and pushed into a corner to get into their business. Thank goodness for the internet. You can view what they have and make an informed desision. If you get emails so what, they can be easily deleted. You see you are on a mission to take control of your finances and the future of your family, but look, talk, network, and another fantastic tool email. Instead of watching TV spent an hour looking for another income that will turn your life around.

You know an extra 200 or 500 or 1500 a month can make a big difference in your lifestyle.

Get to know people who are successful.

Find your passion- Do you like to help people? Do you love working with your hands? Are you a salesman at heart and can motivate people? Are you a leader, a manager in your job? Are you the type that don't like to talk to people or do the network marketing recruiting thing? What ever it is find your passion, it is said once you know what that is you can and will be wealthy, even in this economy.

There will always be people who will have money for your product or service. The internet is global so you can make income from around the world. My gold in life, and I meant gold, has been this, if you help people get what they want, you will get what you want. There will always be opportunities that will come your way. I know of several people who for less than 50 started businesses and became wealthy. How did they do it? Passion to stop the insanity of working 40 hours a week for 40 years (not these days) and the desire to take control of their life.

They had a dream and went for it. It is time to think of alternative methods to improve

And make money now. If you have a job, Great!, now is the time for you to do something. If you are on unemployment- great, you have the time - If you have only 10 dollars for a business - Great! There great opportunities waiting for you. The bottom line no matter where you are in life, you have the power to change it. I say do it now!
