The Boss - Done it Again

Awhile back I read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosaki. and what stood

out that if you don’t have the skill or the knowledge, get it!

So, what I needed to improve my business was find a job that will train me in where I was the weakest. I had the ability to capture, but calling outbound, I would lose words to say.

Changing from the corporate world into independent world is not easy. When you have worked for years in the same structured a operation, of a company. You know the rules, and what to do. It’s hard for us to feel comfortable outside of that arean, but here’s a solution…

As an independent, it’s a night and day difference. First: you are the #1, front people.

Second: You have to get your own customers. The only way to do that is by talking to people about your business. Practice on a list, a cheap one, you will get a lot of wrong numbers and disconnects but the key is practicing and overcoming the fear of dialing.

This is not an easy job, especially after you have told your friends and family, the last place one should go when starting, especially if its network marketing. You can have them help, but don’t ask them to go into business with you. It will push you back, and the doubt enemy shows up.

I have read sales books, great ones; one of my favorites is “Selling” by Tom Hopkins. A must read for every person who sales something.

I believe, this is the number one reason why people fail at network marketing and internet marketing. It is  just a dream to believe that you can just sit back and someone else will automatically grow your business. Plus, it’s the number one reason why people get taken by the vultures that prey on the young , the babies as you will, that will believe the fortune tellers and spend thousands with no results. What happens then, people will loose out on the right opportunity for them and stay stuck in their financial situation, because they were wounded, here is where education comes in. Learn your profession, treat it like any other such as an engineer or doctor.

You can be successful; don’t give up on your dream to become Independent. Being tied to that job, especially now is shaky any way. Right?

Get a telemarketing job, part time, start reading how to talk to people, how to do your own telemarketing campaign. Now, I know this is the toughest step; most people will stop here, and decide to stay working at the job. The boss won and has done it again!

.

Creating your own income is not easy, so don’t be fooled by the easy monster. It’s a committed effort. It’s a planned strategy.
