Woman Trucker Takes New Road
56Talking your business seriously- Helping Others
The one point that was express to me by one of my many mentors, that really got me to thinking “Was I treating my business like a hobby or as a real business owner”
I had been in network marketing for many years, started in
the 80’s moved into internet marketing in the 90’s when it all began. I wanted success, but I really treated like a
hobby. I had a very good job as an
investment specialist, and my internet ventures were just pass times. I was in the beginning stages of my love for
the internet marketing.
Then came layoffs and changing careers, I became a truck
driver, and travel across country, it was fun, but not my passion. I loved network marketing and loved the
computer. My interest was peaked when I
was approached by another truck driver about a business opportunity. That did it.
I knew that I had to try my hand at it again.
Since then I have learned a lot through trial and error, and
then decided to regroup and start reading some books that I had and look for
answers.
“By much slothfulness the building decayed and thru idleness of the
hands the house
droppeth through” The Bible
Here are some of the questions that you can ask yourself to
make sure that you are have define your purpose and define your dream, to put it into reality. This is a proven system of goal setting that
has been used in exact of similar form such as the great leaders as Anthony
Robbins, Zig Ziglar and Napoleon Hill.
You can find these in the book “Psychology of Persuasion” by
Kevin Hogan.
1. Grab a piece of paper and write your dream list, describe
why you want each specific dream. Spend
no more than 5 to 10 minutes.
2. Cross out the dreams that you couldn’t find a definite reason
for. Next to the remainder write 1 year, 5 years, and so on., when you
optimistically think you can reach that goal.
3. Then write one or two sentences on what could come
between you and each of your dreams.
Examples: lose 50 lbs/eat late
and not exercising. Earn 100,000 on my
business/not willing to do what it takes.
4. On your fourth sheet of paper divide it into four
boxes. Write of the four most important
dreams by which you have marked 1 year.
Exp: lose weight, earn 100,000, spend more time with family, and study
more.
5. Then write down in each quadrant, the reason why you must
reach your goals or dreams, then write what you will do to accomplish that. Example:
choose healthier foods, exercise or contact 5 people a day about your
opportunity or plan the time to spend with the family
This is the beginning of the goal setting process. More on this later, in the workshop that will
be provided free to anyone who wants it. No promotional of business, just great information to help struggling online marketers.
I also would like for you to receive this wonderful book to download now. That will help you in your business no matter what it is. Yours for the asking, I would like the world to have it,
