What do I blog about? Internet marketing
58Writing articles or blogs can be a challenge for many people, but with
the changes in marketing it's a must do for any internet marketer..
Spamming people with emails promoting your business will turn off
potential business partners, but what will attract them to you is
blogging...
Can you do it, yes you can and here are some reasons that might help you
make that decision to try and change your tone with people...
If you are an internet marketer, and strictly want to attract people
from the internet. Folks that you have met on social networks give them
something of value.
People want to hear about you first, they ignore emails that promote
your business, a prime example I get too often... "Hi there, I got this
great opportunity..." No, no no.. this is a complete turn off if you
are doing this stop and start blogging instead.
What do I write about? You ask.. Let's start here.
Write about "your why" you decided to go into business.. give people a personal touch let them connect with you.
What is your personal story? What was the turning point in your life?
What sacrifices did you make when you decided to make a change?
Share your story. People like to
read about your why... Everyone has an unique story to tell about
their "why" they decided to start their own business... Talk about your
challenges and how you overcame them. This information will strengthen
another... also this will promote dialog....
Do you know why people in churches testify? To encourage others to keep the faith, it's emotional.
Write about solution to problems
If you have solved a problem in your business tell some one else about
it.. People are looking for answers, something of value that they can
use that will help them be better .
Talk about your product or service, what it has done for you, and
why you use it yourself... When they hear the passion in your voice on
paper it moves people into action.
If you sell marketing tools, show people how it can save them time, how you use it and the results that it has brought you.
If you sell any services, talk about how this service has benefited you
and let people know how this service has changed something in your
life..
When you sit down and really think about it, you have a lot of topics you can talk about...
Do reviews on your favorite mentor. What they have taught you and when you applied their advice, how you grew as a person..
How did you feel when you made that first 100 dollars in your business? What did you do with it?
You will appeal to people that are not involved in a business it will
encourage the ones that are afraid to do so. They can see that you are
just that ordinary person just like them. By letting them know that
there is an alternative way to improve on their finances, by what you
did, they will realize they have the power to do it too. It would peak
their curiosity on what you do... it will bring free traffic to your
website.
Writing something of value... Sharing your success, tips on what you have used that has brought you success in your business..
You do not have to be a super star writer you just have to be yourself.
People are tired of being pitched so don't do it. Have a true concern
about helping another, show your personality on paper..
I encourage you to write, start blogging you can use free services like Blogger.com, Hubpages.com,
post to free article submitters or write reviews on social networks
about other companies or put a blog on your website.. I like this one
its free with no ads... Weebly
Blogging is advertisement for promoting yourself. People will want to know more about you.. They call it branding...
They will Google you, which is a good thing, to find more information
about you. The more articles you have on the "how to" the more you will
really connect to the people that you are seeking out.
So have at it.. have fun... and don't give up... Let your personality shine!

Great advice! I can definitely relate to getting random e-mails from people promoting their business. Honestly they all go straight to the trash. The more I know about a person, the more I want to know about their products and services, but an impersonal e-mail makes me lose interest fast.
